Congratulations to our neighbor, Carolyn Sutterfield. Carolyn has volunteered with the Mosby Woods Community Association as our Mosby Woods Village chairperson for many years. In this role she helps our community by coordinating efforts to provide senior learning opportunities, personal assistance, ride-sharing, and other services through the Shepherd’s Center of Northern VA.
Mrs. Sutterfield has been a tireless advocate for seniors who want to age-in-place in their homes, and has represented the City of Fairfax as its representative to the Commission on Aging, recently serving as the Commission Chair.
In addition, Carolyn served on the Mayor’s Committee on Housing where she advocated for senior oriented development as part of the City’s comprehensive plan.
For all of her service to the community MWCA thanks Mrs. Sutterfield, and Congratulates her on this Award.
