Congratulations to Francis Dietz who was elected president of MWCA on October 15, 2024 at the general membership meeting. As a result of this special election he will serve as president until October 2025.
In addition the following area directors were elected to two year terms: Susan Olenchuk, Laura Bowles, Pranas Ciziunas, Larry Kobayashi, and Jinson Chan. Congratulations to all.

Thanks again to Bob Reinsel for his long tenure as association president. And thank you to the team of board members who planned and ran the voting process.
At the meeting we also heard from Dave Anderson about the Turkey Trot, Amy Chase asking for help keeping this website alive and well (please reach out via the Contact page to volunteer!), and Sarah Kelsey about the school bond referendum on November ballots. Keith Urano presented an award and message of thanks to outgoing president Reinsel, and special guest Mayor Read read a detailed commendation about Reinsel celebrating his many contributions to the Mosby Woods and wider City of Fairfax community.
